Violet Coombs Obituary
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no calling hours. The memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday (January 28) at Dansville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 349 Main St., Dansville, N.Y., 14437. Keith Switzer, will officiate the service. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dansville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Violet was born June 7, 1931, in Warsaw, N.Y., the daughter of Howard and Cora Morgan Gibson. While living in the Dansville area in her younger years, she worked for Blums Shoe Factory in Dansville. She was a member of the Dansville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and later, became a member of the Waterloo Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, while making her home with her son and daughter-in-law in Waterloo, N.Y.
She is survived by her sons Edward (Cheri) Coombs of Nunda, N.Y., Michael (Karen) Coombs of Waterloo, N.Y., and Jerald (Joan) Coombs of N. Cohocton, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister Emma Johnson of Florida: brother Charles (Roberta) Gibson of Dansville, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
Violet was predeceased by her, husband William A. Coombs; son, James Coombs; grandson, Branden Coombs; siblings, Eugene West, Raymond West, Vera Spezzano, Norman Gibson, Wilbur "Billy" Gibson, Howard Gibson, Alfred Gibson, and Bob Gibson.

I am so very saddened to hear of Violet's passing. I was one of her nurses for many years at SNRC she was such a loving and kind woman who greeted me everyday l came to work and would often stop just to chat or give a hug, ill miss you Violet, rest in peace

Violet was a sweet woman I worked at Seneca as laundry housekeeper I would always sit on the bench and talk and laugh with her she would hold my hand and ask me to just sit with her .fly high my angel you will always live in my happiest memories
