David Bennett Obituary

Mr. David L. Bennett, age 62, of Buford passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. Mr. Bennett was born Nov. 3, 1948, in Buford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed with Dexter Farms in Buford. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryson and Grace Bennett; sisters, Hattie Mae Atha, Pat Frost, Betty Jean Bennett, Margie Ann Bennett; and brothers, Douglas Bennett and Ronnie Bennett.
He is survived by his sisters, Nell Pugh of Cumming, Kathy Marie Bennett of Braselton, Linda West of Winder; brothers, Tony Bennett of Winder, Jimmy Bennett of Winder, Bud and Mitzi Bennett of El Paso, Texas; brothers-in-law, Jack Atha of Sugar Hill, David Frost of Fort Payne, Ala.; and 20 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27, at noon in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Shadburn officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Flanigan Funeral Home and Crematory in Buford is in charge of arrangements.
