Thomas Heard Obituary

Mr. Thomas L. Heard, age 58, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Mr. Heard was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Chasidy Heard; father, Minor Lee Heard; brother, Benny Ray Heard.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Berlene Heard of Cumming; mother, Kathleen Heard of Cumming; children, Thomas Allen Heard, Jerry Lee Heard, Christy Daisy and Larry Waters, Jeffrey Ward and Karen Heard, all of Cumming; sister, Daisy Heard of Cumming; grandchildren, Michael Tyler Smith, Nathan Lee Heard, Chloe Grace Heard, Caroline Elizabeth Heard, Emily Anne Heard, Grant Thomas Waters; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, at 2 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Shadburn, the Rev. Pete Martin, the Rev. Michael Spurr, and the Rev. Calvin Keneda officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8, from 1-9 p.m., Friday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 10, from 9 a.m. until hour of service.
