ANTHONY HAYDEN Obituary

ANTHONY "TONY" PAUL HAYDEN, 36, ran into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the end of a battle with cancer. He passed away surrounded by family and close friends and while we mourn the loss of an incredible husband, father, son, brother, and friend, we rejoice in his complete healing as he sees his Savior face-to-face. Tony grew up in Fort Wayne and attended Snider High School, followed by Purdue University. He will be remembered for his authentic love for Jesus, mischievious smirk, penchant for adventure, and deep care for his family and friends. The relationships he cultivated will continue to reap long-lasting benefits of his care and intentionality. Tony is survived by his wife, Meredith (Frey); three girls, Caroline, Audrey and Emily; parents, Paul and Peggy Hayden; sisters, Nicky (John) Hefton, Michele (Matt) Vince, Suzie (Kyle) Pattison; and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Geoffrey and Jeremy Hayden; and daughter, Elizabeth. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Common Ground Christian Church, 4550 N. Illinois St., Indianapolis (IN 46208). Family and friends will gather to honor Tony's legacy from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis (IN 46208). In lieu of flowers, Common Ground Christian Church, 4550 N. Illinois St., Indianapolis, IN 46208 is happy to receive donations (made payable to Meredith Hayden) to be used for college funds and family expenses moving forward.
