Sending prayers and sincere condolences to the Werth family (Mrs. Werth, Chuck, Sarah and their extended families) upon hearing of Mr. Werth's passing. I so appreciated his model of Christian faith in the classroom, but some of my favorite memories are of the many pep rallies he led at Central Lutheran School. I've never seen a more spirited "cheerleader" for the athletes and sports programs at the school. And he certainly extended that spirit of giving in the community as well. I'm proud to have been a student of his and celebrate that he is now at home in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

While I never had Mr. Werth as a student, I was at Central Lutheran when tackle football was launched. Mr. Werth took on the task of building a program from the ground up. We were not exactly a dream come true for him to manage. I was so thankful for his patience and guidance. He taught us how to win and lose gracefully. I have so many fond memories of those two years and the lessons learned. Mr. Werth also was a colleague to my father and a friend to our family for many years. The Guenther's thoughts and prayers are with the entire Werth family during your time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at the loss of Mr. Werth. He was truly a servant of God and I learned from him as to how to be a good person and love others. "Well done good and faithful servant." Know he is in heaven with our Lord.
