JACQUELINE CHAPLA

JACQUELINE CHAPLA, 79, of Clarendon, died on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, at her home. Born May 14, 1935, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Edward and Helen (Thompson) Alber ding. Jacqueline married Henry Chapla on May 14, 1955; they were residents of New Providence, N.J., before moving to Clarendon in July of 2013. Jacqueline was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and a member and commitee member of Our Lady of Peace Church, New Providence, N.J. Surviving are her husband, Henry of Clarendon; four daughters, Jacqueline Faitoute (fiancé John) of Flemington, N.J., Rhonda Tokarzewski of New Providence, N.J., Laura (Dieter) Matern of Rochester, Minn., and Natalie (Alan) Gombrosi of East Poultney; one son, Greg (Beth) Chapla of Cincinatti, Ohio; three sisters, Debby Carlin, Sidonna Wycliffe and Sandy Wisong; three brothers, Edward Timothy and Gary Alberding; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Faitoute, Matthew Faitoute, Eric Faitoute, Lukas Matern, Marie Matern, Dana Tokarzewski and Steven Chapla; and one great- granddaughter, Mary. She was preceded in death by a brother, ThomasAlberding. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in West Rutland. Visiting is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at Mullin-Clifford Funeral Home in West Rutland. Burial will follow service in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, with a reception to follow.
