Many stories have I shared with my wife, Catherine, as well as with friends and acquaintances, about the times I spent with my cousin Jerry, and his family. Particularly, I remember him as a boy, at our grandparents and uncles farms in Ohio at the times of family reunions. We went fishing together, on the Wabash River near Bluffton and at Gull Lake (I believe) in Michigan. He came to visit on several occasions, when I lived in Nebraska and I think I recall in New York state once.
Jerry was a few years older than me, and was a kind and thoughtful fellow, both on a personal and to his family and community. I had been thinking of him lately, and was saddened to hear of his passing on.
My sympathies to his remaining family, Cindy and the girls and sister JoAnne.
