To Joan's family and loved ones: I have wonderful memories of Joan from my days as a camper/staff member at Logan and when I was in Youtheatre. She was always so very kind, warm, and generous. May the reach of her presence and the impact of her life bring you all comfort. My deepest condolences.

Jan + Family:

I will always miss seeing Ron and Joan at church on Sunday mornings. They left a mark on many lives, and I am blessed to be one of them. I am eternally grateful for their generosity of granting me a scholarship all four years while at Ball State University. Aside from my parents, they were my biggest fans!

It brings me comfort in knowing that Joan has reunited with Ron in heaven. I can imagine them catching up and sharing many laughs and memories that they created during their previous life. They will be forever missed by so many.

Warmly,

David Gumbert

Sorry to hear of your loss. Your parents were very special people who shared so much of themselves with others spreading Christ's Love. I was blessed to have known them and to be able to visit with them on a few occasions. My dad and mom, Jack and Lois Massucci always enjoyed visiting with them, and many great stories were told of the old days. God definitely has another angel. Please accept my sympathy.

It's with a heavy heart that I will not be attending my sister's funeral due to an illness. Joan was a special person, highly intelligent, an avid reader and world-wide traveler. She could listen to the radio and study at the same time which always amazed our mother.

She gave me so many words of wisdom in my lifetime. I will miss our telephone conversations, our visits and our Krug family reunions.

My prayer is that the Good Lord would give the family comfort and peace through their time of grief. God bless you all, and we send our love. Aunt Marlis & Don

PS-- one last comment: Our younger sister Marge and I always thought she'd be a fashion designer because she made a lot of clothes for our paper dolls.

I remember fondly when we joined Ron and Joan on a trip to London and Paris ... and times they visited us at our cottage in Onekama, Michigan. Joan always pretended she was hearing
Ron's stories for the very first time ... what a special lady !
God bless you during this difficult time !

Joan has now gone home to her Lord. Your mother and father were some of our lifetime friends. Whenever the occasion was there we would spend special time with them. Our lives took us in different directions, however we would manage to get together and reminisce, joke, and spend quality with them. Although we cannot be there Saturday, we send a BIG HUG to you, each and everyone for what is a celebration of a life well spent under the cross of Jesus Christ our Savior.

To the family of our beloved friend Joan. Although we cannot be with you to celebrate the life of a Christian sister with whom we have lifetime memories of much fun, stayed close even as our journey in life took us in different directions. Whenever there was an occasion for us to get together, we would reminisce ,laugh, joke, and tell stories of our experiences and activities during our lives together in Ft. Wayne. That continued throughout our lives together. We will not be able to be with you Saturday as our traveling is more limited and we have slowed down a bit! However in spirit we are there for you with a BIG HUG and thankful for having had such genuine and loving friends.
