MARILYN J. HUFFINE

MARILYN J. (FRY) HUFFINE, 89, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016. Born Oct. 23, 1926, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Amelia Hoy. She was employed at International Harvester, and retired after 44 years. In her spare time, Marilyn volunteered at Ronald McDonald house for a number of years. She enjoyed traveling with friends, and loved dancing and spending time with her dearest friend Ralph. Surviving are her children, Deborah (David) Crooks of Huntertown, Ind. and Pamela Fike of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; brother, Paul Hoy of Fort Wayne; her dearest friend, Ralph Maldeney; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Darwin L. Fry; second husband, Norman Huffine; and grandsons, Joel Strausborger and Jeremy Crooks. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or Masses.
