Mark E. Dettmer

Mark E. Dettmer, 58, of Yoder, Indiana, passed away on August 20, 2025, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 21, 1967, a son of the late Galen and Donna (Eaken) Dettmer. He was a plumber for over 40 years. Mark was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 166. He was a die hard IU fan, cheering on all sports. Mark enjoyed working in the yard and having a good time. He is survived by his children, Austin and Mallory Dettmer; sister, Trena Dettmer; and two nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at St. Mark Lutheran Church 16933 Thiele Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809.
