Nancy Lou Losher

Nancy Lou (Meyer) Losher, 74, of New Haven, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, after a short battle with cancer in the presence of family at their lake home in Fremont, Ind. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Russel and Helen (Oehler) Meyer. She was a lifetime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She will be remembered for her servant heart as Nancy was active in many areas at the church. Nancy was always willing to volunteer her time to both Emanuel and Central. Nancy worked at the Indiana District Office, LCMS, before retiring in 2021 after 31 years. Previously, she dedicated her time to raising her girls and had a daycare at home. During the summer months, she enjoyed spending time at their home on Snow Lake. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Richard Losher; daughters, Sonja Meeks, Stephanie (Steve) Swinehart, Sarah Hoffman, Shannon Swoope and Sally Georges; step-children Tim, Dan and Lindsay Losher; siblings, Penny Meyer, Dan Meyer and Tom (Debbie) Meyer; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Chad Hoffman (1973); and brother Ken Meyer.

Funeral service is 10:30 am Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitations are also 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2025, at the church. Burial in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven.
