TILLMAN SPRUNGER Obituary

TILLMAN "TIM" W. SPRUNGER, 96, of Berne, Ind., went to heaven on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017. He was a World War II veteran. Born July 9, 1921, in rural Berne, Ind., he was a son of Emil and Matilda (Hirschy) Sprunger. He married Jeanette Amstutz on Oct. 28, 1948. Surviving are his son, Wayne; daughter, Jama (Will) Mitchell and their children, John and Frances; brother, Leroy (Carolyn); and sister, Miriam. He was preceded in death by his wife; brothers, Norman, Eli, Melvin, Clifford, and Raymond; and sisters, Minnie, Inez, Esther, and Edith. Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at First Missionary Church, Berne, with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Visitation also from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at the church. Memorials to Family Life Care in Berne or First Missionary Church in Berne. Arrangements by Yager - Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, Ind.

God bless and keep you all in this time of sorrow and celebration. If I understand our Prayer Chain correctly, both parents have passed this week...Sorrow, indeed, but, knowing them: safe in the arms of Jesus...and forever. Think of it, just up the road, waiting and soon to be met.
God comfort you hearts; our prayers are weith you.
