John Normile Obituary
Beloved husband of the late Muriel C. Normile (Taffe); loving father of Jacqueline of Dover, N.H., Michael and his wife, Mary, of Chamberlain, S.D., Kathleen Colitti and her husband, Christopher, of Dover, N.H., Timothy of Kingwood, Texas, Maureen Bennett and her husband, John, of Belmont, Deborah of Dover, N.H., Christine Lessard and her husband, Robert, of Dover, N.H., Daniel and his fiancée, Paulette Roy-Tata, of Fitchburg, Patrick and his wife, Theresa, of Watertown and the late Dennis and Kevin; loving grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of six. He was predeceased by his grandson, Brian. Also survived by his daughters-in-laws, Donna Normile and Stacey Normile, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont, on Sunday, September 9, from 3-7 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St Joseph Church, 128 Common St., Belmont, on Monday, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Belmont Cemetery.

To The Normile Family, Your Dad was a GREAT guy. When I was a student at St Joseph's school in Belmont he was the reason school, in those days, was tolerable. I got to help him after school weekends and summers caring for the school and church property with Mr Shannahan. Your dad was the most caring and gave of himself . I am better for knowing him growing up.

The memories you left will be everlasting Jack. A great family with a legacy far reaching, you will be missed but remembered for all your contributions to so many young people of Belmont. Pop Warner was rooted in all of us for so many years, I can smile always at all the fun we had. Go and be with your beloved Muriel, your sons Dennis and Kevin and that beautiful grandson. On behalf of the Donahue family, we express our sincere sympathy for your loss. We grew up with the Normile family, sledding on "Normile Hill", playing hide-n-seek, kickball, wiffleball, etc. They were a HUGE part of our lives in Belmont. Jack was a great guy...warm and loving. He and Muriel were wonderful parents to 11 children. How they managed to bring up such great people is a testimony to their character.
