Though it's been 8 years since Maurice passed away, he's still dearly missed. He was a very outspoken, kind-hearted, generous man who put others ahead of himself -- especially his family and friends. I can't thank him enough for the special kindness he and Lorraine always showed towards Alex. It meant a great deal, especially when I was a single parent. God bless him...and Lorraine, and his entire loving family!!

Words alone can't express how sorry we are. Maurice was a very wonderful, deeply caring, and talented man (recalling watching him sew a garment for one of the grandchildren - by hand(!) - at the kitchen table). It was also a total pleasure to see how much he and Lorraine loved each other, and we feel very privileged to have been invited to their 40th wedding anniversary (which was many years ago). Truly a man of rare breed, and very dedicated to his family, and friends (he was always very kind and understanding with Alex, when Alex visited). He would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. It may be our loss, but Heaven's gain...and we look forward to seeing him again. Til nous rencontrer de nouveau dans le ciel ('Til we meet again in Heaven). May God grant Lorraine, and the entire DeLisle family, much comfort and peace. ~Love

To the Delisle family,
I am so sorry to hear of Moe's passing. I can still remember him from the K of C, and all the moments he had with my parents, especially my mother. I can picture them now joking around in French, and thinking no one will understand them. If they only knew. All my best and prayers to the family.

Dear Lorraine and family. I was so sorry to hear about Maurice. Our siblings were married to one another, we graduated from high school together and Maurice always treated me as part of the family. My daughter Kim saw him at Bingo receently and I planned to go just to see him. I'm sorry I didn't get that opportunity. God Bless him. He was a good man.
