Charles Hanlin Obituary
Born on May 5, 1946 in Mt. Storm, WV, he was the son of the late John and Mae Kitzmiller Hanlin. Chuck was a 1965 graduate of Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD. He enjoyed his pets, hunting, fishing and watching sports,but he most of all loved spending time on the mountain with his family and friends in Mt Storm WV. He was very passionate, honest and hard working.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Christopher George J.W. Hanlin and fiance Tara Cerny of Long Island, NY, granddaughter, Emmalee Mae, step-grandson, Gavin Schwatz, daughter-in-law Annette Cooney, brother, Ray D. Hanlin and wife Carol of Cresaptown, MD, and two sisters: Mabel L. Henley and husband Edwin of New Market and Bonnie K. Talbot and husband Kevin of Ovido, FL. Mr. Hanlin was preceded in death by a son, William Allan Hanlin, a grandson, John William Hanlin and a sister, Linda Moreland.
Services and interment will be private.
Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home of Mt. Airy, and Stauffer Crematory, Inc.

POP HANLIN you're up in heaven now with your boys, I bet that reunion was a big ol' joy. I remember the day I met you guys 1984 23rd June.
I met the love of my life that day, who we lost way too soon.
In 1988 your beautiful grandson was born,
Never would have thought again in 2010 way to soon we would mourn.
He was in heaven with his Daddy now we knew that much was true,
but that couldn't stop us from being so blue.
I would live my life all over again, just because I got to love 3 amazing men.
You will be truly missed Pop. I'll miss our daily calls.
It's not only us though Pop, You'll be missed all.
