PAUL LUCAS Obituary

PAUL E. LUCAS SR, 78, of Fow Tower Road, Smithsburg MD, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown, MD.

Born January 27, 1945, he was the son of the late George W. Lucas SR and the late Catherine A. Lucas.

He worked as a Road Construction foreman for Hazel company and was also a pastor.

He is preceded in death by his parents George W. Lucas and Catherine A. Lucas, his three brothers Donald E. Lucas, Lee E. Lucas and David Lucas and his wife Wanda R. Lucas.

He is survived by one son, Paul E. Lucas JR, 55, three grandkids Jennifer A. Lucas, 27, Paul E. Lucas III, 26, Rebecca E. Lucas, 24 and seven great grandkids Olivia P. Lucas, 8, Noah P. Lucas, 5, Zach L Hewett, 3, William S. Hewett, 2, Emma G. Joia, 1, Paul E. Lucas IV, 8 months, Kaelyn R. Joia, 4 months and one brother George. W Lucas JR

There will be a viewing Friday March 24, 2023, from 5pm-7pm at Mt. Pleasant Church of God in Smithsburg, MD. Services will be held Saturday March 25, 2023, at 11am at Mt. Pleasant Church of God. Starting to receive guests at 10am. A burial will be held at a later date.
