William Alger Obituary
WILLIAM JOSEPH "BILL" age 90, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2016. He is survived by wife Virginia Alger of 66 years, children; Jim (Ellen) Alger, Anne (the late Fred) Shier, Steve (Vicky) Alger, Mary (Kevin) Dolin, Patty Alger, Jeanne (Bob) McAllister, Clare (Robb) Blatt; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bill was proud to have served in the US Navy in WW II. Visitation Monday, December 5th from 4-8 p.m., Rosary at 7 p.m., at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd. Funeral Mass Tuesday, December 6th at 11:30 a.m., in state at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. My fond memories of him and Melvin street remain dear to my heart . My prayers are with you and very sorry I cannot attend the funeral Mass as I am in Florida.
