HOOPER - The funeral for Allyssa C. Johnson, 12, of Hooper will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.
She died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, as a result of an automobile accident near Purcell, Okla.
She was born Feb. 10, 1990, in Fremont. She lived in Fremont until moving to Hooper in 2000. She would have entered the seventh grade at Logan View Junior-Senior High School. She was a talented singer and participated in school programs and was active in basketball, volleyball and softball. She also participated in talent pageants.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont.
Survivors include: her grandparents, Phyllis and Jon Young and Ron and Sharon Mueller, all of Fremont, and Evelyn and Patrick Schlueter and Harold and Kathy Cassidy, all of Hooper; and her great-grandparents, Donna Mueller, Marvin and Mary Lou Gorden, Frank and Deldine Young and Robert and Virgene Muller, all of Fremont.
The Rev. Tom Shaw of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate Thursday's service. Visitation will be noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and continues one hour prior to service time Thursday at the church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
