CONCEPCION RUBIO "CONCHA" SEDANO

"Concha" Our beloved mother passed away peacefully, called to Heaven to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2010. A resident of Sanger, our mom was born December 8, 1916, in Tlaltenango, Zacatecas, Mexico to Miguel and Mercedes Rubio. She married Eustacio Sedano in Los Angeles, Ca., on March 8, 1936. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed life, spending time with her family and friends. Our mom was a kind, generous woman who loved her family, she was a good cook, seamstress, and gardener. "He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever." Rev 21:4 She was preceded in death by her husband, Eustacio; her parents; and her brother, Jesus Rubio. She is survived by her children, Frances Romero, Nellie Esqueda, Ruth Alcantar, Rosie Espinosa, Kathy Gastelo, Patricia Sedano, and John, Antonio, John Louie, and Richard Sedano; siblings, Nemecio of Wilmington, Mike of Carson, Salvador Rubio of Lakewood, and Ermelinda Lara of Gardena; 30 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and her many beloved family and friends. Visitation will be held at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home, on Sunday, June 20, 2010, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, on "O" Street in Sanger on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sanger Cemetery.
