DOLORES ROSALES

Dolores Rosales, age 81, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 14, 2015. Friend, confidant, and mentor, to both family and friends alike, Dolores was well known for her grace, humility and encouraging guidance. She was an active member in the community during her 60 plus years as a resident of Parlier. She served in many leadership roles including, President of the PTA, Parlier Athletic Boosters Club, Parlier Am- Vets Women's Auxiliary, Parlier City Council, and founded Parlier Women of Action. Selected as Grand Marshall of the Parlier Round Up Parade, Dolores exhibited a tremendous sense of civic pride and duty to her community. Her willingness to assist and help others, coupled with a desire to see others succeed will be her legacy. "And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Dolores is survived by her husband of 61 years, Henry Rosales; sons, Dennis Rosales and his wife, Juanita, Rodney Rosales and his wife, Kelly, and David Rosales; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Wallin's Parlier Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2015, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Kingsburg, CA, on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. followed by Interment at Mendocino Cemetery in Parlier.
