GEORGE SUE Obituary

George Sue (Gong Lem Sue) was born in Fresno, CA, on November 27, 1924, and passed away at the age of 91, on Saturday, May 14, 2016. George proudly served in the 1389th Engineer Forestry Company during World War II. After his discharge from the United States Army, he worked as a butcher for Mandarin Meat Market, then worked with Mabel's father on the family vegetable farm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Chun Sue. George is survived by his son, Randy Sue; and daughter, Marlene Eng and her husband Ed. He enjoyed a loving relationship with his five grandchildren, Jerry, Aaron, and Leslie Sue, and Barrett and Rachel Eng; and a great-grandchild, Lailah Sue, all of Fresno, CA. He also leaves Cill Sue and Krysta Rosado who were like daughters to him. George will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and other members of his extended family. A memory I'll have of my Great Uncle George or as I would call him at times Chut Goong as he was the baby brother of my grandpa is when he used to come by with those outstanding vegetables to my grandpa Jack Sue, my Goong Goong's house. I'll miss seeing him at work when he would come in as a customer and I would ask if he needed help bagging. He said no I'm fine and I would call a clerks helper to help him bag no matter what and at times slipping a hug in before he left just showing him love and respect as he was and always will be my great uncle. Until we meet again Chut Goong have fun with in heaven with my Goong Goong.

Ps: thank you for the memories my Great Uncle George, (Chut Goong.)
