Fresno , California - JoAnn Burkhart Tosi, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at River Bluffs Memory Care. She was born, January 25, 1952, in Fresno, California, to John and Betty Burkhart. She was a 1974 graduate of Fresno State and a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. JoAnn is survived by her husband, Jack Tosi, her four children, Emily Rosa, John Harris and partner Jessica Jones, Anna and Josh Stanhill, Rebecca and Edward Raus, her two grandchildren, Adam Stanhill and Merritt Raus, and her two sisters, Claudia Anderson and Laurie Welch.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to go to the Alzheimer's Association and Bristol Hospice.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

So very sorry for your loss. JoAnn will be missed by so many friends! I treasure all the memories of her and Susan Hale spending time together over luncheon or dinner dates! She is in my prayers, as all of her family is, too. Condolences to all!
