I met Larry about 25 years ago while traveling in Japan. I would consider us friends even though our relationship was only through our affiliation with the California raisin industry. Larry was a bit of a prankster. At many of our industry events, there was a golf tournament. Me, not being the best golfer - or maybe the only HONEST golfer (ha, ha) always had the highest score, hence I "won" the loser's prize which was always some goofy item like a squeaking plastic pig. One year, I decided to not play golf at the annual meeting. I thought, hey, I can't win the booby prize if I don't play, right? Well, with Larry in the mix, nothing is guaranteed. That year he "awarded" me TWO booby prizes. Thanks for the great memories, Larry. You will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about Larry. We were cousins. His Dad (Uncle Neal) and my Dad (Joe) were brothers. I'll always remember him when I was a little girl and he would come to our house in his orange convertible and take me for a ride through the neighborhood and the many BBQ's with the family. My Mom kept a picture of him in our dining room hutch from his modeling days. He was so handsome.
Sending you all love through this difficult time.
