I only recently met Marie and Cinda in the last month or so, since my mom Benny had moved to Somerford. My impression of Marie was that she was a strong, beautiful and caring woman. She would sit very erect in her wheelchair, calmly observing all that was going on around her, sometimes cradling a little baby doll in her arms. And Cinda has been the most devoted daughter... at her mom's side every evening, helping feed and care for her. My mom is in a similar stage of the disease, and I only hope that she and I can enjoy the times ahead together, just as Cinda and Marie did. May her family's wonderful memories of Marie keep her with them forever.
