MILO MARTIN

Milo was born on January 9, 1930, in Ventura, CA to Ewing and Clyde Martin and passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Fresno, CA. He attended Kettleman City Grammar School and Lemoore High School. He served in the United States Air Force as a radar mechanic instructor and returned to Lemoore where he had a dairy and built the MilBar Golf Course. Milo was involved with large animal nutrition and showed cutting horses. His life changed when he trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior at 57 years of age and began serving him in many ways. Milo loved his Lord, his family and never met a stranger. He was a wonderful cowboy, dancer, golfer and delighted in bringing the good news of the Gospel to men. Milo is preceded in death by his parents; his son Richard; and half sister, Evelyn Addy. He is survived by Cheryl, his loving wife of 41 years; his children, Cindy Lessard and her husband Norm of Sanford, FL and Matthew Martin and his wife Susan of Fresno; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held in the main sanctuary of Northwest Church, 5415 N.
