Br Myron is the reason I have a PhD and am a college professor. Sitting in freshman chem way back when I remember thinking that he looked like Santa Clause especially when he laughed which he did quite often. That is a Santa Clause in black robes with chalk prints around his middle. He gave engaging lectures and hard exams. Every thursday night I would pull an all nighter and on Friday I would go take the exam only to slip further and further down the ranking chain. Br Myron suggested that I relax and go to bed the night before, that I knew all I was going to know by 11 PM. Dag nabbit he was right! I finally aced the final and Br Myron told me that I could do anything I set my mind too. He gave me the A and to this day I remember that and do the same for my own students giving them the opportunity to shine and show all that they know. I have many fond memories of Br Myron and his humor and his great teaching. I know he is missed but I also know he is in a wonderful place with God and probably singing!

A great teacher with a sense of humor, he taught freshman chemistry with élan and panache. From the obituary I see his life was well spent and he now enjoys the rewards he earned.
