Nathan Terry Obituary

NATHAN GERALD TERRY

Nathan, a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, uncle. and friend went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 28, 2005. Nathan was born in Fowler, CA on July 28, 1954, to Nathan and Helen Terry. He was the youngest of four children and was fondly known, by his family as "Corkey". Nathan was at ease with people from all walks of life. His sweet humorous, and gentle spirit lightened the burdens of many throughout his lifetime here on earth. Fishing was a hobby he enjoyed and delighted in with anyone that would grab a pole and join him down by his pond. Humor and integrity were evident as he skillfully worked in the maintenance department of World- Mark, the Club Resort at Bass Lake, a Division of the Cendant Corporation. He was presented the company's 2004 Garcia Award, which recognized him for his loyal and trustworthy contribution to the company above and beyond the expectations of his work requirements. Nathan's family would like to sincerely thank all the Nancy Hinds Hospice Fresno Inpatient Home staff and volunteers who served Nathan, his family, and friends with compassion and God's amazing grace. "And Jesus said unto them, I am the Breath of Life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth in me shall never thirst." John 6:35 Nathan is survived by his wife Ann of Ahwahnee; parents, Nathan and Helen Terry of Madera; brother, Michael Terry and his wife Carol of Madera; sister, Debby Fields and her husband George of Clovis; sister, Diane Massetti and her husband Frank of Modesto; sister-in-law, Sue Keeney and her husband Don of Fresno; brother-in-law, Tommy McCabe and his wife Linda of Carlsbad; sister-in-law, Sheri Smart and her husband Jeff of Clovis; borher-in-law, Brian Schmidt and his wife Lisa of Fresno; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends, that were all very special to him. A private Memorial was held on Saturday, July 2, 2005. The family also would gratefully ask that any donations be extended to Nancy Hinds Hospice, Fresno Inpatient Home, 1616 W. Shaw Avenue, Suite C-1, Fresno, CA 93711-3513.
