Robert Gross Obituary

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend went home to be with the Lord in Heaven on Friday, June 1, 2007. Robert was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 22, 1930. He married the love of his life, Nancy on June 9, 1956. He spent his life being a inspiration and Christian role model for his family and those who knew and loved him. During his career he taught and was principal at Emmanuel Lutheran School. He also taught at Lafayette School and was a school psychol-ogist for Fresno Unified School District. Bob is survived by his wife Nancy; his children, Anita and Les Olvera, Matt and Janet Gross, Katy and Hal Baptista, Erich and Karen Gross, Andy and April Gross, and Marti and Chris Hansen; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Tues-day, June 5, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Peace Luth-eran Church. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Redeemer Luth-eran Church, 1084 W. Bul-lard, Fresno, Ca 93711.
