Fresno, California - Sally Ann Seago, 81, of Fresno, California, passed away October 30, 2024, surrounded by loving family members. She was a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will always be remembered for truly living life to the fullest.

Sally was born on January 17, 1943, in Napa, California and was the only child of Fred and Alice. Sally graduated from Fresno High School in 1960 and remained close with her graduating class her entire life. Starting in 1985, she moved to Cambria, California, and opened the Seago Art Gallery, just steps away from the beach. During this time, she frequently gave art lessons to friends and tourists passing through town. Quickly, Sally's sociable personality became a staple of the community where she made many friends and frequently enjoyed poker nights at other's houses. She eventually served as honorary Mayor of Cambria in 2004.

Her passion for seeing new places and cultures remained with her throughout her life. While she traveled to many places, Africa and China had a special place in her heart. So much so, that she devoted significant time to painting African landscapes upon her return from an African safari.

Sally left Cambria in 2012 to semi-retire and be closer to family. During this time, she still found time to give art lessons and spend time with family and friends.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Shelley Dueck, her son, Jason Seago, her grandchildren Daniel Seago, Kylie Seago, and Trevor York, and her great-grandson Emmett Reyes.

A service will be held in her honor on January 10, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the El Adobe Clubhouse, located at 5500 N. West Avenue, Fresno California. For questions, please contact Shelley York at 559-696-6694.
