SHIRLEY KINUKO IHARA

Mrs. Ihara was born in Amachi, CO on October 30, 1944, and passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014, at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, CA, due to complications of multiple health issues. She was a long time resident of Sanger and Reedley, CA. Shirley and her mother, Akiko, excelled in the making, painting, and selling of ceramic items. Shirley was first a Realtor for London Properties, and then for Guarantee Real Estate, where she was a multi-million dollar producer. She was also a successful Mary Kay representative because of her keen interest in style. She also excelled at water color painting. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Akiko Sasashima; sisters, Peggy Liggett and Linda Sasashima; and brother, Larry Sasashima. She is survived by her husband, Toshio Ihara of Sanger; son, Michael Ihara and wife Suzette of Sanger; daughter, Debbie Watanabe and husband Wayne of Stockton; sister, Barbara Takumi and husband Lawrence of Carson, CA; and grandchildren, Ashley and Lauren Watanabe, and Dustin Ihara.
