Andrew "Ace" Frost

Andrew (Ace) Frost of Chipley, Florida went home to be with Our LORD on July 24, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Ace was a native Floridian and was born in Dania, Florida on August 8, 1933. He was a Korean War Veteran and served in the United State Army. He was the best place on Earth to live. He was an aid car enthusiast, re-building and building over 25 antique automobiles in his lifetime. He was a certified FORD mechanic and taught Auto Mechanics for over 35 years; teaching in Chipley and Quincy, Florida. He was an Ordained Baptist Deacon for nearly 50 years and never missed a chance to talk about GOD. He was also the very best story-teller. One of his greatest accomplishments was the work he did to improve the Washington County Christian School in Chipley, FL.

As much as he loved life, he also loved his precious and beautiful wife of 60 years, Norma (Sugarbump). He also loved his family unconditionally. The apples of his eye were his treasured daughter, Dawn (Puddlejump) and his beloved grand-daughter, Jenny (J.J.). He was especially proud of his son-in-law Gary, who he entrusted the lives of those he left behind. He will leave a huge void and will be missed greatly.

Ace was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln and Valeda Frost, a son Andrew (Andy) Frost and grand-daughter Drew Lee. He leaves behind his forever soulmate and wife, Norma of Chipley; a loving daughter, Dr. Dawn Rene' Frost-Haddock and her husband Gary of Vernon, FL; a cherished grand-daughter Jenny (J.J.) of Vernon, FL, two dear step-grand-daughters, Jennifer Haddock and Courtney Redmon (Justin) of Vernon and two great-grand daughters Abbigail and April Redmon; two sisters Carolyn Wren and Rebecca Shepperson, both of Chipley and one brother, Louis (Carol) Frost of Grand Island, FL. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and many friends and a great legacy. No more sickness, no more pain. We love you POPPY!!!

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Oakie Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Knight officiating. Internment will follow in the Oakie Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., July 26, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
