He is survived by his wife, Pamela B. Ruffin, of Quincy, FL, four daughters, Temika Brown (L.B.), of Tallahassee, FL, Jovana Singleton, Shannon McSwain (Greg), Princess Ruffin, all of Quincy. FL, one brother, Jimmy Ruffin, of Tallahassee, FL, sister, Yolanda Baker, of Gretna, FL, 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Williams Funeral Home of Quincy, Florida in charge of arrangement.

I was the Regemental Sergeant Major of the Battery to which he was assigned in Augsburg Germany. I always found him to be a top notch soldier who always had his soldiers best interests in mind. He was a professional!
