Aaron Anderson Obituary

Funeral services for Aaron Michael Anderson, 30, Jacksonville, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Seven Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time at the funeral home. Aaron passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, in Anniston.
Survivors include his parents, Hubert L. "Toby" Anderson Jr. and Sheila Wilcox Anderson; his sister, Amanda Anderson; aunts, Barbara Wilcox, Kay Jenkins (Keith), Linda Reeder (Wayne), Rebecca Anderson (Andy); uncles, Phil Wilcox, Kenny Anderson (Lee); cousins Nathan, Autumn, Jonathan, Christy, Amy, Julie, Rebecca, Clint and Ryan.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Diryl Wilcox and Hubert L. Anderson Sr. and Virginia Anderson.
Aaron was a life-long resident of Jacksonville. He was an alumnus of Jacksonville State University with a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Aaron was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He worked at the Anniston Army Depot as a capacity planner and had been employed there for seven years.
Aaron was known for his beautiful smile, contagious laughter and sense of humor. He was quick-witted and fiercely loyal to his family and friends. Aaron was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior when he was 9 years old and now lives forever in his heavenly home.
