Catherine Shaver Obituary

Funeral services for Catherine Mary Shaver will be Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Williams Southside Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to service. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Park. The Rev. Lem Lockmiller and the Rev. Lynn Hughston will officiate.
She was retired from Baptist Hospital, Gadsden, Ala. She was a loving and selfless mother. She loved flowers and she was a caregiver to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Harold Shaver.
Survivors: daughter, Ann Holt; sons, Harold Don (Celeste) Shaver, Jeffery (Ginny) Shaver; sister, Shirley West; brother, Harvey Ragan; half-sister, Delma Allen; grandchildren, Brad Holt, Kristin Russell, Jake Shaver, Jennilee Baker, Harry Shaver.

Jeff, Ginny and family,

So sorry for your loss. I was blessed to know her, not only as Jeff's mom, but also a Central Supply coworker at Gadsden Regional (then Baptist Hospital) more than 30 years ago.
