Paul Ridgeway Obituary
Paul is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ann Gartner Ridgeway; children, Debra Suzanne Ridgeway, Durham, North Carolina, Daniel Wayne Ridgeway, Nanjemoy, Maryland, and Emily Claire Ridgeway (Stephen) Gulledge, Gadsden; parents, Wayne and Ann Bethany Ridgeway, Cleveland, Tennessee; grandsons, Joshua Tyler Herndon, Lawrence, Kansas, Brett Allen Riley, Durham, North Carolina, and Emmett Lane Gulledge, Gadsden; sisters, Diana Leah Duncan (Gary), Cleveland, Tennessee, Sharon Miller-Ridgeway, Grand Junction, Colorado; and brother Russell Ridgeway, Denver, Colorado.
Paul was preceded in death by grandparents, Febbe and Effie Ridgeway and Walter and Lucille Bethany, Decatur; and brother-in-law, Bill Miller-Ridgeway, Grand Junction, Colorado.
Paul was born in Birmingham, raised in the Chattanooga area, Decatur, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He graduated from Eldorado High School. In 1983, Paul and his dad Wayne opened Ridgeway Printing at 326 Hoke St. in East Gadsden, where together with help of their wives, Ann and Ann, ran a very successful business for over 25 years.
Paul was beloved by his family and special friends, Butch Steakley, Elton Goodwin and Matt and Robyn Ballard, and will be greatly missed.
Immediate family will join for a private memorial service. Cremation services by Morgan Funeral Home.

Ann, I'm so sorry to hear about Paul. This must have been a very hard year for you and your family. Central Catholic class of 78 is having our 40th reunion in a couple of weeks. I was doing some searching for people in our class... Just reminiscing... and I found the obituary for Paul. My heart goes out to you and you children I know how hard it is to lose someone so young. I hope are doing OK. I don't know if you will see this, but I hope you do. I would love to hear from you, and see how you are doing.
