Gaffney, SC - Coffine "Collie" Goode Huskey, 89, formerly of 140 Huskey Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Rutherfordton, NC, she was the widow of the late Paul Huskey and daughter of the late Robert Goode and Edna Ramsey Goode. She retired from textiles, loved to cook and cooking for others, flowers, gardening and birdwatching, especially red birds. She was a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church. Coffine loved her Lord, her family and her church family.
Surviving is a son, Jimmy Huskey of Gaffney; a daughter, Deb Huskey Beheler (Dennis) of Gaffney; two brothers, Dennis Goode (Jo) and Bobby Goode (Pam), both of Cowpens; two grandchildren, Casey Beheler Bell (Steven) and Chandler Huskey; a greatgranddaughter, Ella Cate Bell; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Fowler and Lucille Linder and four brothers, R. E. Goode, Boyce Dean Goode, Robert Goode, Jr. and Paul Parks.
The family would like to extend special thanks to White Oak at North Grove Memory Care Staff, Shannon Kitchens, Melissa Sarratt, Kay Overly and Jane Beason.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Frazier and Reverend Daryle Hawthorne officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cherokee Creek Baptist Church, 501 Buck Shoals Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
The family will be at the home of Jimmy Huskey, 116 Farmwind Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.

Mrs. Husky was such a sweet heart! She will be so missed for so long and now she will be all happy,healthy,and greeting all her loved ones with open arms! She spoke of her family so often but I wasnt sure who was who, now i know and just so her family knows..she never forgot yalls name ! She cared and worried about her family,bless her heart! I told her all the time, everyone is doing fine...you rest so u can feel better". She was a wonderful lady and she was always treated as such!! Kisses and hugs mrs. Husky! Till we meet again.
