Gaffney, S.C. - Johnny Elmer Lamb, 81, of 521 W. Montgomery Street, Apt. 41, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Mary Pennington Lamb and son of the late Johnny Lamb Sr. and Mary Brown Lamb. He retired from construction.
Surviving are a daughter, Sara Garcia of Knoxville, Tenn.; two step-sons, David Howard Crowe of Greenville and Charles Dewayne Crowe and wife, Kim, of Gaffney; two step-daughters, Pam Stone and husband, William, of Cowpens and Lynne Crowe of Cherokee Falls; a brother, Joe Dean Lamb of Gaffney; two sisters, Lynn Brown and Gerry, both of Gaffney; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Leon Lamb.
The family will receive friends fro 1 until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Knotts officiating.

The family will be at the residence, 521 W. Montgomery Street, Apt. 41, Gaffney.
