Kitty Horne

Gaffney, S.C. — Kitty Ann Green Horne, 67, of 368 Twin Lake Road, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Russell Ashley Horne and daughter of the late James D. Green and Katherine Parker Green. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, a graduate of Limestone College and retired from Piedmont Community Action. She was the first female President of the Gaffney Chapter of the Jaycees and a former volunteer in the Miss Peach Festival Pageant. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, loved flowers and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Josh Gibson and wife, Nicole, of Spartanburg; a daughter, Emily Wallace and husband, Drew, of Gaffney; two brothers, Raymond Green and wife, Cathy, of Asheville, NC and Jimmy Green and wife, Sandy, of Charleston; a half-brother, Benny Green and wife, Barbara, of Surfside; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Gibson, Lillian Grace Gibson and Parker Max Wallace; a nephew, Scott Green of Chicago, IL; three nieces, Shannon Green of Florida, Ragan Massey and husband, Todd, of Tennessee and Kelly Smith and husband, Carey, of Texas; numerous great-nieces and greatnephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clyde Thomas officiating.
