Lawndale, N.C. - Melissa "Missy" Mullinax Holland, 55, died Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Hospice at Wendover.
Born in Cherokee County, SC she is the daughter of Dolly Moore Rankin of Gaffney. She retired from Timken after 32 years of Service. She enjoyed traveling with her family and always put others first. Missy attended Clemson University, where she was an avid fan. She was a faithful member of Hudson Memorial Baptist Church.
Missy was preceded in death by her daughter, Falon Cooksey. She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Scott Holland of the home; daughters, Graci Holland and fiancé Corbin Clapper and Magie Holland, both of Lawndale; sister, Samantha Crosby; brothers, Leonard Mullinax, Mike Mullinax and Alex Ruppe, all of Gaffney; and grandchildren, Noah Pope and Kenzie Hartsell.
A celebrate of Missy's life will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Hudson Memorial Baptist Church, with the Revs. David Black and Alan Sailors officiating. The family will receive friends following the service, in the church.
