Robbie Peterson Obituary
Gaffney, SC – Robert "Robbie" Lee Peterson, 35, of 136 Greenbriar Drive, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Dennesia Melton Peterson of the home and the late Franklin "Frankie" Lee Peterson. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School where he played football, formerly worked at Adidas, and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, adored his children, and loved to play video games.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Asher Peterson of Spartanburg; a daughter, Arrianna Peterson of Spartanburg; a brother, Barry Peterson, of Gaffney; a sister, Brittany Rawling (Matt) of Lincolnton, NC; a nephew, Kannon Rawling; a niece, Madison Rawling.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely and Mr. Matt Rawling officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cherokee Mental Health Center, 133 Wilmac Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
The family will be at their respective homes.
