Benjamin Lucky Obituary
Benjamin F. Lucky, Sr. 64, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Fairbanks Church of God By Faith, and from Tacachale. A native of Ocala, he moved to Gainesville, from Blitchton, 22 years ago. Survivors include: Wife Cynthia, Lucky, Gainesville, FL. Four sons; Benjamin, Lucky, Jr. Ocala, FL. Tyrone Lucky, Sr. Cobbs Creek, VA Royan Stewart, Jamaica, Recardio Clark, Gainesville, FL. Six daughters; Contonda Lucky, Jennifer Lucky, Janet Lucky, Kimberly Lucky, all of Ocala, FL. Calettia Lucky, Recretia Mitchell, both of Gainesville, FL. Three brothers; Earl Lucky, Tampa, FL. Thad Lucky, Fairfield, FL., Sammie Lucky, Ocala, FL. Five sisters Brenda Williams, Ann Smith, Crystal Boone all of Ocala, FL. Doretha Bennett, Mary Tribble, Fembrooke Pines, FL. 15 grandchildren, and 3 Great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Lucky will be held on Sat. Oct. 24, 2009 at 12:00 Noon Pine Grove Baptist Church Blitchton, FL. Rev. Otis Williams, Pastor, Elder Jeremiah Lee Officiating, Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home, 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL., Visitation Friday 2:00-7:00PM Chestnut Chapel and on Sat. at the church one hour before the service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. Family member are asked to meet at the St. Hawthorne Church in Blitchton to form the cortege. at 11:15 AM

Blessings to the family from the Greens in Venice.
We were so happy to have had Mr. Lucky as our neighbor for a number of years in G'ville/Fairbanks. We loved our goats that we got from him.
Always a smile and probably the kindest and most generous man we've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
