Girls, I just heard of your mom passing away. I loved her so much. I know you have such lovely memories as I do of all the Girl Scout times we had. She also was the best bus driver we ever had. Sorry I was out of town or I would have been there celebrating her life with you all today. Love you, Giff AKA Sheryl Gifford

I am saddened to read this today. I met Patti about 4 years ago at the GHFC. We were drawn to each other as tall women & we talked often about our height and health. She always wore a smile, was very outgoing, & inspirational to us all at the gym. I remember a time when she commented about me working out especially hard to wear a 2-piece bathing suit a few weeks later to the beach. She told me, A tall woman looks more classy and slender in a one-piece anyway! I now think of her every time I put on a bathing suit! I've missed seeing her at the gym. Now I know why. She will be greatly missed. Condolences to her family whom she loved so much and spoke of often.

My condolences goes out to the family of Ms. Patti. She was such an inspiration to me. Every time i saw her she had that beautiful smile on her face. I worked with her for many years at Belk and she would always encourage me. I will truly miss seeing her at the gym with that beautiful smile. Rest in Peace Ms. Patti

I remember Patti as a kind and loving presence in our lives from the time when she drove our 3 year old daughter to the hearing-impaired program at Lake Forest School. Now almost 40 years later our daughter and her husband have a 3-year-old of their own, but I have never forgotten Patti. What a kind soul.

Patti was a dear friend of mine from GHFC. She loved spending time there and was such an inspiration to so many of us. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed sharing stories about her beloved family and her many adventures with them. I extend my condolences to Patti's family and many friends.
