Glenda Savage Burtz Obituary
Glenda Savage Burtz, 77, of Cleveland went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Burtz was the daughter of the late Van and Mary Emma Rail Savage. She was a homemaker and a member of Dewberry Baptist Church No.2.
Survivors include her husband, Roy P. Burtz Jr.; children, Roy P. Burtz III (Chip) and Shelia Burtz; Chad A. Burtz; grandchildren, Betsy Satterfield (Devin Satterfield); Allen Burtz (Taylor Burtz); Andrew Burtz and Dylan Burtz; great-grandchildren, Scout Satterfield; Jameson Burtz; Knox Satterfield; Owen Burtz; siblings, Larry and Sandra Savage; Margaret and Henry Minor; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The Rev. Kyle Savage and the Rev. Scott Strickland will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Cody Savage officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Aug. 16, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Northeast, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501, or Bridges of Hope, 2845 Jackie Snider Trail, Stapleton, GA 30823.
