Samuel Moore Henry, 65, of Gainesville, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, at Chestnut Mountain Church. Arrangements by Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch.

coach henry was always an inspiration. when i was in 5th grade at CWES, i was placed in his guitar class during our wednesday free days, and it was always my favorite thing. he taught me how to play guitar and he always made me feel welcomed, even though i was the new kid. coach henry constantly encouraged me to practice the guitar, and ever since then, i haven´t stopped playing. at the end of the school year, coach henry bought me a guitar. and even though i haven´t played it in years because i upgraded to a fender, i still have it. and sometimes when i don´t feel like playing anymore and giving up, i look at the guitar he gave me, and i remember how excited i was when coach henry taught me how to play. and till this day, he has always had an impact on my life, and will forever, be an inspiration. rest in peace coach henry.
