David Bundy Obituary
Born on February 4, 1948 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Clem and Elsie (Boyer) Bundy.
On January 5, 1980, he married his wife of 45 years, Amy (Haines) Bundy. She survives.
He was a graduate of DuBois Area High School.
Dave was a veteran of the United States Navy having served on the USS Liberty.
He had an over 40-year career with Local #9 Bricklayers and Allied Crafts Union. Dave was a member of the Falls Creek Eagles Aerie #965, the Polish Citizens Club, the Olympic Club, and the Sandy Hose Company #1 Fireman's Club. He also was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and archery. Dave won numerous awards for his archery excellence. He also loved to bowl.
Along with his wife, Dave is survived by his two sons (Brian Bundy and his wife Lori of Falls Creek, PA, and David Bundy, Jr. and his wife Marie of North Carolina), three grandsons (Mason, Owen, and Elijah Bundy), one granddaughter (Anais Bundy), one brother (Sam Bundy of Soldier, PA), four sisters (Linda Chittester and her husband John, Sr. of DuBois, PA, Cathy Basinger and her husband Ray of DuBois, PA, Laura Shofestall and her husband Rod of Falls Creek, PA and Sue Palazzo and her husband Lou of Montoursville, PA).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Dave's brother, Pastor Sam Bundy officiating.
Burial will take place in Lakelawn Memorial Cemetery.
