Gary Knepp Obituary
Born July 27, 1959 in Philipsburg, the son of David and Shirley (Quick) Knepp of Clearfield.
He was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.
Mr. Knepp was a Mechanic Technician, having worked for various companies.
He was Protestant by Faith.
Mr. Knepp was a loving father and grandfather who had a big heart and would help anybody and loved his beloved pets. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and liked sports, especially Penn State and Steeler Football and had coached little league and various all-star teams. He was also a good drummer, having played in various bands.
Gary is survived by his parents, his wife, Tina L. (Shoemaker) Knepp whom he married September 22, 1979, three sons; Gary D. Knepp and companion Jill Butler, Gregory A. Knepp and companion Jennifer Williams and Tyler W. Knepp and his wife Ashley E., all of Clearfield and five grandchildren; Carter, Kylie, Aubree, Rylyn and Camden.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Jim Knepp officiating. Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA 16830.

Always had time for you. It didn´t matter where or when Gary always had a minute to talk. If you needed help working on your vehicle or someone to talk about fishing he was never to busy to ask how you´re doing. If you brought him a quart on Friday he would gladly get out the guitar and play out on the deck. Keep one cold and the guitar in tune for another day Gary.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Gary ! Any time I saw him at work he always greeted me with a hello, and sometimes we would have time to chat a little bit. But it only took a little to know what a good guy he was ! My Condolences go out to his family and friends ! I will not forget him !

Gary always made me laugh when he was telling stories. His conversations were about his wife, sons, grandchildren, parents, and dogs he love them all dearly. We will miss him and his funny stories. May the loving memories get u all through this difficult time. Love, Dorinda

My deepest thoughts go out to Tina and the whole Family for the loss of a great man. Gary was one of my favorite to talk to in the break room at Walmart. He will be missed by many. I know I will miss him dearly. He would always say " hey kiddo how's it going today " when he would see me. He reminded me of my own Father who passed away going on 3 years this Dec. His Wife Tina, kids, grandkids and fur babies all meant the World to him. Many thoughts and prayers to you all at this time.
