James Flood Obituary

James A. Flood, 64, of Philipsburg, PA, died on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Mt. Nittany Medical Ctr. in State College, PA.

Born on August 27, 1960 in Philipsburg, PA, James was the son of the late Kenneth R. Flood Sr. & Elizabeth "Betty" (Martin) Flood.

James was a laborer.

He also had his GED.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Flood.

James is survived by a daughter, Sherri L. Sharpless of Coalport, PA; a son, Aaron L. Sharpless & his wife Alicia D. Sharpless of Philipsburg, PA; two sisters, Phyllis Harris & her husband John of Houtzdale, PA and Shirley Graffius of Houtzdale, PA; a brother, Kenneth R. Flood, Jr. & his wife Carol of Allport, PA; and six grandchildren, Zachery, Alexis, Gabriel, Breonna, Karsen, and Cataleya.

At James request, there will be no viewing or funeral service.

Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
