Richard Horsey Obituary

Richard J. Horsey, 43, of Houtzdale, PA died on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at his home.

Born on June 17, 1982 in New Brunswick, NJ, Richard was the son of Richard J. Horsey, Jr. of Elmira, NY & the late Vera J. (Harris) Horsey. He married Alicia D. (Erskine) Horsey on February 2, 2007 in Kylertown, PA. She survives at home.

Richard worked at Walmart.

He is preceded in death only by his mother, Vera.

In addition to his wife Alicia, Richard is survived by four daughters, Kazmera Evans of Elmira, NY, Saphire Horsey of Philipsburg, PA, Jamica Horsey of Morrisdale, PA, and Octivia Horsey of Elmira, NY; a son, Deaondrea Horsey of Morrisdale, PA; and five sisters, Tameka Harris-Walker & her husband Hadley Walker of Albany, NY, Valleen Horsey of Alaska, Gabriel Horsey of Elmira, NY, Tiffany Horsey of Elmira, NY, and Olivia Horsey of Elmira, NY.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St. Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Daniel Winters will officiate.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28 from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to funeral time at the funeral home.
