Ronald Herring Obituary
Dr. Herring was born at home on a dairy farm Aug. 3, 1941 in Brownsburg, Ind., the son of the late Cecil Keith and Anna Laree (Johnson) Herring.
On June 22, 1985 in Houtzdale, Dr. Herring was married to the love of his life, the former Cynthia A. "Cindy" Slother, who survives along with six children, Daniel K. Herring of Frenchville and Julia E. (Herring) Korb and her husband, Kyle; Ronald K. Herring Jr., of Chester Hill and Thomas J. Herring and his wife, Lisa; and Jeffery K. Herring and his wife, Julia of Fairfield, Ohio and Sharon (Herring) Dildine of Noblesville, Ind.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
The arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg.

Ron has been a treasured friend, brother in the faith, confidant and took such wonderful care of our little girls. As Jehovah's Witnesses we have a wonderful hope of seeing our brother again. We long for this time but in the meantime we will miss our very dear friend. A wonderful man!!

I have taken many pets to Dr. Herring through the years both dogs and cats and trusted him completely with my pets. He was a wonderful vet. My most sincere sympathy to his family.

Sorry to hear of Dr. Herring passing. Sympathy and condolences to the family. He was a wonderful vet. I started going to him when he opened his own place. He was the best and there will never be anyone who will ever be able to replace him as a vet. He will never be forgotten.

Dr. Herring was one of a kind. My family and I will miss him dearly. He was our family vet since the 80's. He always showed such kindness and compassion to our pets, and to us. Always friendly and helpful. May he Rest in Peace.
