Bill Greenlee Obituary

GASTONIA - William "Bill" Bryant Greenlee, 76, passed away on Oct. 19, 2016 at Cardinal Care and Rehabilitation.

He was born in Gaston County on May 9, 1940, to the late John Murray Greenlee and Lois Goble Greenlee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Lance "Johnny" Greenlee.

Bill retired from B.F. Goodrich, Chemical Company, Gastonia; and had formerly driven for Akers Motor Lines for 17 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and served with the National Guard. Survived by his daughter, Christine Greenlee Cormier and husband Howard, his son Mike Greenlee, and granddaughter, Laryn Harrison

Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will be held 11 am, Friday, Oct. 21 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Brown officiating.

Interment will be at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the National Guard.
